Regina Daniels accusing Ned Nwoko of trying to take down her Instagram has opened another chapter in the fast-unfolding drama around their troubled marriage. The actress took to her Instagram story to claim that Ned had always wanted her page off the internet whenever it wasn’t promoting him, which was why she once deactivated it earlier this year.
Regina questioned why he was allegedly trying to pull her page down again and thanked God for her “coconut head”, asking jokingly how to say “leave me alone” in Arabic if that’s what he understands.
Her post came only hours after she warned Ned publicly, threatening to spill everything, from what she called land grabbing to other serious accusations. She also said he introduced her to drugs and ecstasy to make their private life “wild”.
In a separate post, Regina shared new photos of herself dressed in black, saying she was mourning her past. She urged Ned to marry a new wife and let her be, reminding him that he once said he would.
Just weeks earlier, Regina claimed she was facing domestic violence in her marriage. In a viral clip, she cried while saying she wasn’t treated like a queen in Ned’s house.
Ned, on his part, has repeatedly said the issues stem from what he described as her struggle with drugs and alcohol. He stated that his attempts to get her professional help were always resisted, and later accused her of violent behaviour at home.
A day before her new outburst, the actress said Ned’s love for her was toxic. She boasted about her s3xual strength as a Delta woman and said that in seven years of marriage, Ned never slept outside because she “held him well”.
Regina also admitted that she hid under the cover of being a big man’s wife, but maintained she has pride and would accept any label except being linked to multiple men. She said Ned never accused her of cheating throughout the marriage.
Another revelation followed: she got pregnant for Ned before the wedding but had an abortion without her mother’s knowledge. According to her, Ned has never forgiven her friend Ann for helping her.
While the drama grows online, Ned posted a video of himself at the grand finale of the Senate President’s U-18 Unity Football Championship with his children. He said he took them there to support young talents and to encourage grassroots sports.
The video stirred reactions, with many social media users jokingly calling him a “single father”.
Only a week earlier, he had posted another clip showing him engaging in sports with all his children, including Regina’s boys, saying he values moments that build strong family bonds.
In a recent interview, he insisted that his priority is for Regina to go to rehab “to be alive and healthy”, not for his sake, but for their children. He accused her friends and siblings of sabotaging every attempt to get her help.
Responding to his claims, Regina said it was ironic that Ned now wanted rehab when he used to cheer her on to get high because it made her “sexier and wild”. She accused him of forcing himself on her, locking her up, seizing her phones, and declaring her mentally unstable anytime she said she wanted to leave the marriage.
Things took another turn when activist Omoyele Sowore alleged that Ned had intercepted Regina’s phone calls and planned to leak her private parts. He said what the public is seeing is only a piece of a larger pattern of abuse and misuse of power.
His claims sparked wide reactions online, with many Nigerians arguing over whether he was right or simply pushing an agenda.
