Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has penned a touching tribute to her senior colleague, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, as she clocks 41.
Taking to Instagram, Regina admitted that for the first time in years, she was truly short of words because the past year had been filled with joy, emotions, and unforgettable moments. She noted that one thing that remains undeniable is the depth of love they share, describing Mercy as someone she loves endlessly and who also loves her deeply in return.
Regina further described the veteran actress as “amazing” — not just as a woman, but also as a mother, wife, and above all, a listener. She rained prayers on Mercy, thanking her for everything she has done for her, including the sacrifices that remain unseen by the world.
If I had to choose one word to describe you, it would be AMAZING. You’re an amazing woman, a mother, a wife, and above all, a listener. I pray God continues to preserve you for all of us, because the world shines brighter with people like you in it,” Regina wrote.
The billionaire’s wife also extended her wishes to Mercy and her husband, Prince Odi Okojie, on their 14th wedding anniversary, praying that their love and joy remain unshaken.
Regina Daniels and Mercy Johnson have shared a close bond over the years, with their relationship growing stronger beyond movie sets. Though they reportedly fell out years ago following Regina’s marriage, the two reconciled in 2022 and have since continued to show each other love and support.
Earlier in June, Regina publicly defended Mercy against actress Angela Okorie, making it clear that she stood firmly by her senior colleague.
