Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has taken to social media to celebrate her husband, Olakunle Churchill, on Father’s Day, describing him as the “Father of the Year.”
Sharing a heartfelt video featuring Churchill and their two children, Rosy expressed her admiration for her husband’s dedication and the sacrifices he makes for their family. She emphasized how one day is not enough to honor how special he is as a father.

Earlier, Olakunle Churchill also celebrated Father’s Day by sharing a video of himself with his three children—his first daughter and two kids with Rosy Meurer. Wishing himself a Happy Father’s Day, he declared himself “Father of the Year” and encouraged his followers to dream big. Notably, Churchill omitted any mention of his first son with ex-wife Tonto Dikeh in his tribute.
The couple’s celebration comes amid ongoing speculation about their marriage. Just last week, Churchill and Rosy Meurer were the subjects of divorce rumors. Churchill debunked the allegations by revealing that his wife and kids were enjoying a family trip to Disney Paris. He humorously stated that those wishing for their separation would have to wait until menopause.
Rosy also spoke out, dismissing the rumours and defending her husband against accusations. She asserted that Churchill is not abusive and labeled the claims against him as baseless.
Since their marriage following Churchill’s divorce from actress Tonto Dikeh, Rosy and Churchill have faced frequent speculation about their relationship. However, the couple continues to publicly affirm their love and commitment, standing firm against the gossip.
