British boxer Ryan Taylor, former fiancé of Nigerian DJ Cuppy, has sparked controversy with his Father’s Day message and subsequent comments. Celebrating the day, Ryan shared heartwarming photos and videos with his daughter, using the occasion to address issues of race and fatherhood.
His caption read:
I’m going to solve racism one black baby at a time. Happy Father’s Day.”
In the comment section, a fan noted a resemblance between Ryan’s daughter and DJ Cuppy, writing:
She come resemble Cuppy.”
Ryan’s response was swift and controversial. He dismissed the comparison by stating:
“She wasn’t enough of a woman to even fathom creating such a beautiful creation like mine. Please leave and don’t come back.”
The comment immediately sparked backlash online, with many interpreting it as a direct jab at DJ Cuppy.
This isn’t the first time Ryan has made headlines for his statements involving Cuppy. The duo got engaged in 2022 but called it quits in mid-2023 for undisclosed reasons. Rumors at the time suggested that Ryan reconciled with his ex-girlfriend, Fiona, who was allegedly pregnant during his engagement to Cuppy.

DJ Cuppy, on the other hand, described 2023 as the worst year of her life, expressing regret over accepting Ryan’s proposal. The billionaire heiress also clapped back at Ryan after he hinted at her being a “bad driver,” a statement she found offensive and disrespectful.
