Job Description:
The Senior Environmental Specialist will play a key role in managing and overseeing environmental projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing expert guidance on environmental issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental science and regulatory frameworks, as well as a proven track record in project management and client relations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure project goals are met.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Stay current with changes in environmental laws and regulations and advise the company on compliance strategies.
- Conduct environmental site assessments, impact analyses, and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement environmental monitoring programs.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on environmental matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and support.
- Identify opportunities for new business and assist in proposal development.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior environmental specialists and other team members.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental science or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in project management and client relations.
