SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER-VACANCY AT YNV GROUP

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Officer in Nigeria to lead and manage strategic and operational procurement activities across Nigeria and Rwanda. The responsibilities include negotiating contracts, overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, searching for reliable suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading a full range of procurement processes in a cross-functional environment for different departments: IT, Marketing, HR, Property Maintenance, and more.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Demonstrate understanding of procurement metrics and participate in corrective measures.
• Develop and foster successful, long-term business relationships and ongoing process improvements with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.

Qualification

• Master’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management.
• 10+ years of experience leading procurement across departments.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing & supplier management.
• Strong financial acumen and cost management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and contractual expertise.
• Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP or similar).
• CIPS, CPM, or similar procurement certifications are preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
