Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has publicly questioned fellow actress Iyabo Ojo’s recent controversies on social media, particularly her ongoing feud with Very Dark Man.
Recently, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram Live to address the issue, even involving Seun Kuti in her rant.
Sonia Ogiri expressed concern over Iyabo Ojo’s persistent involvement in controversies, asking if she isn’t exhausted from the drama. She criticized the actress for what she perceives as self-disgrace and urged her to emulate the composure of other industry veterans like Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde. Sonia also advised Iyabo’s boyfriend, Paulo Okoye, to intervene and help keep her out of public disputes.
In her statement, Sonia emphasized the need for Iyabo Ojo to maintain a drama-free public persona, especially after working hard to build a reputable career. She highlighted that while private advice might have been given, Iyabo continues to engage publicly in controversies.
The recent clash stemmed from allegations made by Very Dark Man about Iyabo Ojo’s attendance at Davido’s wedding, which she vehemently refuted with evidence. This incident has further fueled tensions between the actress and various social media figures.
