Sophia Momodu, renowned fashion entrepreneur and mother to Davido’s daughter, recently silenced a critic who called her long nails “classless.”
A Snapchat user advised Sophia to reduce the length of her nails, claiming it reflected poorly on her. They wrote:
“Try reducing the length. Long nails make you look classless. I read it in a book.”
Sophia, unimpressed by the unsolicited advice, clapped back with a sharp response:
Real classy men aren’t on Snapchat monitoring the length of a multimillionaire’s nails. And stop capping; guys like you don’t read—you should, though.”
This isn’t the first time Sophia has defended herself against social media critics. Recently, she addressed comments about her daughter, Imade Adeleke, being “insecure” for not smiling in photos. Sophia reminded the critic of Imade’s remarkable confidence and urged them to stop projecting negativity.
Despite frequent public scrutiny, Sophia remains unbothered. As a cast member of The Real Housewives of Lagos, she responded to mixed reactions about her role, saying that her inclusion was God’s will, regardless of public opinion.
