Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of music star Davido, has once again stirred controversy with her remarks about the singer. During a recent Instagram live session, Sophia addressed those urging her to give her daughter, Imade Adeleke, a sibling.
She remarked that Imade already has “like 15,000 siblings” from her father’s side, implying no rush to expand her own family.
This isn’t the first time Sophia has shaded Davido. Last year, in the heat of their public feud, Sophia lashed out at fans who referenced Davido’s growing family and marital life. Responding to trolls, she claimed people still dragged her into conversations despite Davido having “10,000 women and 15,000 children.”
Sophia’s remarks come amidst an ongoing custody battle with Davido. In June, Davido filed for joint custody of Imade, accusing Sophia of denying him access to their daughter and extorting money from him—claims Sophia denied. She countered his lawsuit, citing the tragic death of his son and other issues as evidence of his alleged unfitness to raise Imade.

Tensions between the former couple escalated after Davido publicly rekindled his relationship with his now-wife, Chioma Rowland, leaving Sophia visibly upset. She later accused Davido of financial abuse and neglect, sharing emotional details of their daughter’s sadness over the loss of her brother, Ifeanyi, and her father’s alleged indifference.
