Sunmbo Adeoye, wife of Pastor David Adeoye and mother to music star 2Baba’s son, Nino Idibia, has expressed immense pride as her son graduates with honors. Nino, her first son with the legendary singer, completed a transformative course at Royalty Life Development Institute, the same institution where Sunmbo graduated 18 years ago.
Taking to Instagram, Sunmbo celebrated the full-circle moment, sharing how Nino was recognized as one of the best students of the May 2025 Maturity Bible Course. She reflected on her journey from being a student to becoming a faculty member and now a proud mother witnessing her son’s remarkable achievements.
“Eighteen years ago, I took this life-changing course at Royalty Christian Centre. Today, I watched my son, Nino, graduate from the same Royalty Life Development Institute as one of the best students of the Maturity Bible Course. This moment is a powerful testament to consistency, vision, and legacy,” she wrote.
Sunmbo extended gratitude to the institute’s leadership, including Pastor David Adeoye, and expressed her happiness at seeing her son’s success continue to shine.
Nino’s graduation adds to a series of milestones. In 2023, he graduated from secondary school and later headed to the U.S. for university, accompanied by Sunmbo and her husband. Earlier this year, she proudly shared awards Nino had earned during his first year in university, with his institution praising her for raising a remarkable young man.
This latest achievement further cements Sunmbo Adeoye’s legacy as a dedicated mother and inspirational figure. In addition to celebrating her son’s success, she recently received a Legacy of Impact Award from the MBC/LBC class of 2025 at Royalty Christian Centre, highlighting her contributions to purposeful leadership and spiritual growth.
