Tunji Balogun, widely known as Teebillz and the ex-husband of Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, has publicly apologized to Toke Makinwa, a close friend of his ex-wife, in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Teebillz admitted to acting impulsively in the past and attributed his actions to his strong affection for celebrity couple 2Face Idibia and Annie Idibia. He expressed regret for his behavior, acknowledging the emotional incompetence that led to their fallout.
In his post, he shared,
My sincere apologies, TM. I jumped the gun and goofed… I acted out of character because of the unconditional love I have for Annie and King 2! My actions were based on expired knowledge and lack of understanding of current occurrences. I hope you spare my ignorance.”
Teebillz also expressed his desire to meet with Toke Makinwa privately to reconcile and ensure his young son, Jamil, never witnesses him disrespect someone they both hold dear.
Jamil can’t find out I disrespected one of his favorite aunties… What example am I setting?” he added.
This apology follows a series of public disagreements, with Teebillz previously criticizing Toke Makinwa for commenting on the marital challenges faced by 2Face and Annie Idibia. At the time, he urged her to steer clear of family matters and took the opportunity to remind her of past comments made during his own separation from Tiwa Savage.
