The Coroner Inquest held on September 11, 2024, in Ikorodu, for the late singer Mohbad has sparked controversy, particularly with a video capturing his father’s apparent snub of his estranged wife, Mohbad’s mother.
During the inquest, a video surfaced showing Mohbad’s father refusing to acknowledge his ex-wife when she greeted him. This act of snubbing comes amid a backdrop of significant family discord, particularly following the death of Mohbad, whose family relations have been strained.
The mother of Mohbad had expressed her support for her former husband at the inquest, stating that whatever he says concerning their son’s remembrance should be considered final. She also appealed to the public for privacy and minimalistic remembrance of their son.
