With the emergence of the Saudi Pro League as a point of attraction for top football players, Liverpool and Spanish midfielder, Thiago Alcantara, has reportedly received various offers from Saudi clubs.
Reports have it that the midfielder has already rejected one lucrative offer.
The Spain international features highly on the Saudi Pro League’s list of elite targets after entering the final year of his contract at Anfield.
According to The Athletic, no official bid has been received by Liverpool for the injury-plagued midfielder, who is currently focused on returning to first-team action after his lay-off at the end of last season’s campaign.
The club, however, will not stop Thiago if he decides to leave, as Jurgen Klopp has signed two new midfielders already and hopes to get a third before pre-season officially begins.
The veteran Spanish midfielder didn’t perform at his best last season, contributing to a generally disappointing campaign for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Therefore, it’s not surprising that many changes could be made to this squad during the summer.
