Nollywood star Toyin Abraham couldn’t contain her frustration after crossdresser turned transgender personality Bobrisky was awarded the title of Best Dressed Female at the Ajakaju movie premiere.
Celebrities gathered at Circle Mall, Lekki for the premiere of Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds, including Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, Iyabo Ojo, Ashmusy, Bobrisky, Dayo Amusa, and others. Despite numerous outstanding outfits at the event, Bobrisky’s win as Best Dressed Female shocked many, with the crossdresser receiving a prize of N1 million.
In a circulating video, Toyin Abraham was seen expressing disbelief at Bobrisky’s win, questioning the organizers’ decision and jokingly demanding a share of the prize money. She voiced her incredulity, asking if the organizers were “mad” to crown Bobrisky as the winner.
Bobrisky’s win comes amidst earlier headlines where the personality announced the acquisition of a vagina, urging Nigerians to address him as a woman. This declaration followed ongoing scrutiny over his gender identity, with Bobrisky previously addressing questions about his genitalia and asserting his right to define his own gender.
