Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale made a glamorous appearance at Davido and Chioma’s star-studded wedding in Miami, proudly representing her son, singer Mayorkun.
The veteran actress took to Instagram to share a video from the lavish celebration, revealing she attended on behalf of the “Mayor of Lagos.” In her caption, Toyin congratulated the newlyweds, praying for their marriage to remain blessed.

Mayorkun, who joined Davido’s DMW label in 2016 after the superstar discovered him on Instagram, has often credited Davido for changing his life. Over the years, he has openly described the “Unavailable” crooner as a brother, mentor, and a key figure in his success story.
In a sentimental twist, rapper Zlatan Ibile also recently praised Toyin Adewale, calling her “one of my favourite mums” on Snapchat. The actress affectionately responded, referring to him as “Oko mi” (my husband) and praying for more blessings for him.
Toyin has previously admitted she was initially unsure about her son’s music career but is now one of his biggest supporters, keeping close tabs on him despite his fame. The mother-son bond remains strong, with Mayorkun frequently showering her with love and gratitude in public tributes.
