Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Ugezu J. Ugezu, has spoken strongly against the embezzlement of community funds, stressing that such acts never end well.

Taking to his Instagram page, the veteran filmmaker noted that those who enrich themselves through community money often face dire consequences. According to him, even in rare cases where they appear to end well, curses are passed down to their successors.

He questioned why people still engage in such destructive behavior, warning that karma is faceless and spares no one.

“People who survive by embezzling community funds do not always end well.
Where they manage to end well, the curse waits for their successors.
This is commonplace.
I don’t know why people still do it.
Karma is faceless.
Only a foolish person will leave curses for his or her successors,” he wrote.

Last year, Ugezu made headlines when he revealed that Nigerian ancestors never supported patriarchy, emphasizing that women were highly valued and given political power before modern times.

He also advised African youths to avoid insulting their parents or elders, stressing that such actions carry long-term consequences.

In another post, the veteran shared the story of a Nigerian medical doctor who sold his clinic to relocate to the United States, only to end up working as a butcher in a meat shop while hiding from fellow Nigerians.

Weighing in on the growing paternity test trend, Ugezu criticized the culture of DNA testing. He argued that it is tearing families apart, stressing that any child born to an African man is rightfully his child.
