Nollywood has been plunged into mourning once again as news surfaces of the passing of veteran actor Pa Zulu Adigwe on the evening of Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024.
The heartbreaking announcement was made public by movie producer Stanley Nwoke, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, through an Instagram post. Nwoke lamented the loss of the esteemed actor and stated that the cause of death is yet to be disclosed.

While details surrounding his demise remain uncertain, there are unverified reports suggesting that the actor had been grappling with an undisclosed illness prior to his passing.
Pa Zulu Adigwe’s departure adds to the growing list of losses suffered by the Nigerian film industry in recent months. Within the span of four months, Nollywood has bid farewell to six of its own luminaries, including Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and now, Junior Pope.
