Nigerian singer and songwriter, Victor AD, has come to the defense of late clergyman, Pastor TB Joshua, amidst the controversy surrounding a recent BBC documentary.

Victor AD took to Twitter (now known as X) to share his personal experiences, refuting claims that TB Joshua was fake.

In a series of tweets, Victor AD recounted the miracles he claimed TB Joshua performed for him and his family. He mentioned instances where TB Joshua reportedly healed him from a skin disease at the age of 6, restored his mother’s hand that was supposed to be amputated due to a gunshot wound, and healed his sister from blindness.

The singer also highlighted how TB Joshua sheltered and fed his family when they were homeless. Defending the late clergyman, Victor AD emphasized that God is not a man, and critics can say whatever they like, but it won’t change the divine acts he believes TB Joshua performed.

The tweets come in response to the BBC’s investigative documentary on TB Joshua, which reportedly details atrocities and sexual crimes. The documentary includes interviews with members and workers of TB Joshua’s church, Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), and is set to be released in three parts, with the first installment scheduled for January 8.
