Warriors’ Draymond Green Apologizes to Steph Curry Amid Leadership Doubts

In a recent turn of events, Warriors’ veteran Draymond Green has issued a public apology to teammate Steph Curry for the unfair criticism the latter faced during Green’s 12-game suspension. The suspension resulted from an incident where Green struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face on Dec. 12.

While Curry faced criticism questioning his leadership during Green’s absence, the veteran forward expressed his disappointment, stating, “It crushed me because how is Steph enduring being a bad leader? Like this guy doesn’t give us anything to tear him down about. This guy does everything the right way and yet he’s being torn down because of my actions?”

Green, who was reinstated on Saturday, returned to the Warriors’ bench in a 133-118 loss to the Toronto Raptors. Despite the defeat, his veteran leadership was immediately evident. Green expressed gratitude for Curry’s support during his suspension and vowed to continue helping him through the tough times.

The exact date of Green’s return to the court is uncertain, but his presence is anticipated to strengthen the Warriors’ lineup upon his comeback.
