Nigerian comedian turned prophet Woli Arole has recently issued a stern warning to women in light of the rising incidence of ritual killings.
In a now-deleted social media post, Arole addressed young ladies, highlighting the dangers posed by current trends and behaviours.
Arole urged women to avoid fornicating, engaging with sugar daddies, and associating with individuals involved in fraudulent activities. He emphasized that their destinies are worth more than temporary pleasures and material gains. His message was clear: ladies should remain vigilant, study their Bibles, pray, and commit their lives to Christ.
The devil is on a rampage against young ladies’ destinies. Can we see the rate of RITUAL KILLINGS? Ladies, don’t fornicate around, don’t carry SUGAR DADDY, don’t follow one boyfriend away for a weekend, don’t date BOYS you know that are doing FRAUD!!! Be careful, Beware, Study your Bible, pray, and give your life to Christ. Your destiny is more than sex and money.”
In a subsequent post, Arole declared that individuals involved in ritualistic killings would be exposed and disgraced. He prayed that the blood of the innocent would speak against these perpetrators and that divine retribution would fall upon them.
I speak as a Prophet of GOD. Every man that is killing people for RITUALS hear the word of the Lord in my mouth; you shall be Exposed, disgraced, and the blood of the Innocent shall speak against You. Bloodshed would not leave your Lineage. The wrath of God shall speak over you in Jesus’ name!!”
Arole’s warnings come in the wake of several high-profile cases of ritualistic violence. In June, the disappearance of two best friends from Port Harcourt, who were later linked to a possible ritual killing, captured widespread attention. Social media was abuzz with discussions on safety and morality.
The public response to Arole’s statements has been varied. Some have praised his call for moral and spiritual discipline, while others have criticized him for his approach. Similar sentiments were echoed by public figures such as Singer Paul Okoye and Actress Sarah Martins, who have previously voiced concerns about the influences and dangers faced by young women.
