Nollywood actor Linc Edochie’s ex-wife, Yinka Theisen, has responded strongly to those criticizing her for keeping her ex-husband’s last name after their divorce.
Taking to Instagram, Yinka shared a photo of herself with Linc, stating that despite their separation, she deeply respects the father of her children. She warned that any insult directed at him also insults her, and she won’t tolerate such attacks.
Yinka described Linc as a “great man,” revealing that they maintain a cordial and beautiful friendship that cannot be compromised. She criticized people who compare her to others without knowing the full story, calling it “stupidity.”
Yes, I kept my last name after I divorced years ago. While I am divorced, I have the utmost respect for the father of my children. If you insult the father of my kids, you insult me… He is a great man, and we have a cordial and beautiful friendship… Stupidity is when you compare people when you don’t know them,” she wrote.
In another post, Yinka disclosed that she and her ex lived together for over a year after their divorce. She stressed that she has zero tolerance for hate and urged critics to keep their negativity away from her.
This comes months after Yinka and Linc’s marriage faced public scrutiny following her public show of support for Yul Edochie and Judy Austin. Tensions heightened when Linc distanced himself from her after she allegedly attacked May Edochie online. Yinka later claimed she was unfairly treated by the Edochie family and accused some members of instigating conflicts behind the scenes.
