Nollywood actor and preacher Yul Edochie has opened up about a profound conversation with God that redefined his spiritual journey. The actor, who launched his ministry, The Salvation Ministry, in 2023, revealed that despite preaching the word of God, he felt incomplete.
According to Yul, God instructed him to return to his roots and learn about the traditions and ways of his people in Nteje. He shared that God emphasized the importance of understanding his heritage, stating, “You cannot preach about the people of Israel while knowing nothing about the people of Nteje.” Yul expressed that embracing his traditional roots has made him spiritually whole.
In 2023, I started my ministry. While preaching the word of God, I felt a vacuum. Then God told me, ‘Go home and know about your people.’ And when I came back home, I became complete,” he shared.
Earlier this year, Yul responded to critics questioning his ministry. He affirmed that he remains a minister of God, now even stronger in his faith after reconnecting with his roots. He credited this journey to divine revelations that have been hidden from many for years.
Yul’s ministry began after a near-fatal car accident in 2019, where he claimed God saved him and gave him a second chance at life to fulfill His purpose.
