According to Portuguese football transfer expert Pedro Almeida, Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has requested that his team purchase 40-year-old defender Pepe from FC Porto.
Almeida tweeted about this using his Twitter account.
He tweeted,
“Cristiano Ronaldo asked the Al-Nassr board to sign #Pepe, the Portuguese player is at the end of the contract with Porto. “Porto wants to extend the contract with the player.”
During their tenure at Real Madrid, Ronaldo and Pepe were club teammates. After leaving Manchester United in November by mutual consent, Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr on a free transfer.
