Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak suffers vertigo stroke

Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of the well-known technology company Apple, was reportedly hospitalised in Mexico City on Wednesday after suffering a possible stroke.

According to CNBC, the 73-year-old scientist and tech entrepreneur was set to attend a World Business Forum event in Mexico City’s Santa Fe neighbourhood.

The report by TMZ, Wozniak finished his speech at the event but later told his wife that he was “feeling strange.”

His wife insisted on him seeking medical attention. While the specifics are unknown, TMZ speculated that Wozniak may have suffered from Vertigo, a condition characterised by dizziness and balance illness.

Wozniak and his more famous business partner, Steve Jobs, the renowned investor and longtime Apple CEO who died in 2011, founded the fledgling Apple Computer company in 1976.

Their company pioneered personal computing and grew to become one of the world’s most valuable company, known for the design and functionality of a variety of consumer electronics, including laptop and desktop computers, as well as the iPhone mobile phone.
