IKEDC hikes electricity tariff for Band A consumers

The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) has announced a revision of the electricity tariffs for Band A consumers.

IKEDC serves areas of Lagos and Ogun states.

In a statement issued on its social media accounts, IKEDC stated that Band A users will now pay 209.5 Naira/kWh instead of 206.80 Naira.

The new rate, which is “in line with the service-based tariff regime,” is effective July 1, 2024.

The announcement also stated that the tariffs for Bands B, C, D, and E “remain unchanged”.

It further stated that clients “can be rest assured that this development will further sustain the improved service delivery currently being experienced across all Feeder Bands within the Ikeja Electric network”.
