PDP wins 24 LGA chairmanship seats in Delta

The People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, won the July 13 council elections in Delta State’s 24 local governments.

The election results were revealed on Sunday in Asaba at the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission’s (DSIEC) headquarters.

Dr Jerry Agbaike, DSIEC Chairman, told reporters after the LGA Returning Officers declared the results that the Allied People’s Movement, or APM, had won one electoral ward in the Oshimili South local government area.
