Monkeypox: Osun govt issues red alert

The Osun State Government has issued a red warning for the monkeypox epidemic.

This warning comes after many states verified cases of monkeypox in Nigeria.

This warning was sent through a message on the Osun State Government’s official X account.

The statement, which advised state citizens to be vigilant and safe, included information on the terrible viral illness.

The statement reads:

“Osun State Government issues red alert against Outbreak of MONKEYPOX (M-Pox).

“Things you need to know: Symptoms and causative agents of the disease.

“Awareness and Sensitization, Prevention and Treatment.

“Stay alert! Stay safe!!”
