- The purpose of this role is to work with the Managing Director, Managers and other functions as a team to ensure the efficient and productive manufacturing process of the company’s products that meets customer requirements. To take responsibility of the company’s high-end and luxurious quality standard. HEAD OF PRODUCTION
Responsibilities
Ability to develop a detailed furniture and fittings production plan, coordinate production process, supervise available resources and be able to deliver on pre-agreed terms, delivery timeframes, budget, quality and scope.
• Manage the production facility and production process. Ensure production process runs smoothly, safely, clearly and meets production budget and goals.
• Responsible for managing the furniture production, ensuring that all orders are executed to Clients’ requirement.
• Prepare cutting list from drawing and designs sent from the design architect for production.
• Oversee and work with Quality Control/CNC to establish and execute quality control processes.
• Oversee the production process that includes cutting to measurements, edge taping, plaining of boards, designing a finishing, drawing up production schedule and setting targets for carpenters, floor hands, machinists and quality assistants.
• Ensure that production is cost effective. HEAD OF PRODUCTION
• Estimate costs and set quality standards.
• Monitor our products standards and implement quality control programme.
• Work with management to implement the company’s policies and goals.
Experience in furniture factory is mandatory
Certification in Production and Inventory Management as well as Quality Control.
