Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic message seemingly aimed at an unidentified individual.
In her post, Nkechi expressed her unwavering faith in God’s support, emphasizing that despite efforts to tarnish her reputation, she will continue to rise and shine brightly.
God will keep showing up for me because all I ever did was wish good for everyone around me. No matter how they try to paint me black, I will continue to rise and shine bright like the glorious child that I am. Omo ologo didan,” she wrote.
This message follows a recent outburst in which Nkechi called out colleagues who badmouth others behind their backs while pretending to be friendly in person. She urged them to drop the two-faced behavior this year and focus on positivity.
Nkechi has a history of addressing these issues. Last year, she reminded her fellow actors that judgment day is inevitable, urging them to stop ruining others’ reputations with producers and directors.
Earlier this year, Nkechi stood firm against negative media outlets, warning them not to spread defamatory stories about her. She asserted that as a doctorate degree holder, she wouldn’t hesitate to take legal action against anyone tarnishing her image. Despite the hate, she remains focused on her personal and professional growth.
On her 35th birthday in February, Nkechi responded to accusations of age reduction, boldly telling her critics to choke on her success. She also addressed claims that she was stagnant, reminding everyone that her progress is evident and unshaken.
Nkechi has also publicly expressed her gratitude to her boyfriend, Xxssive, for being her biggest support system. She credited him with helping her become a calmer and better person, celebrating him for his influence in both her personal and professional life.
Recently, on Xxssive’s birthday, Nkechi shared photos of him in a suit, playfully teasing him about looking like he was ready for a wedding, not a birthday. She showered him with heartfelt birthday wishes, describing him as a special person and her “only headache.”
Their relationship has been a source of public attention since Nkechi moved on from her highly-publicized breakup with Ekiti-state politician Opeyemi Falegan. She frequently praises Xxssive for his positive impact on her life, and last month, she hinted that their third anniversary is fast approaching.
