21 Alleged Internet Fraudsters arrested by EFCC In Abuja

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday blew up a den of internet scammers known as ‘Yahoo Boys’ in Abuja, arresting 21 of them.

The suspects were arrested in the Abuja suburbs of Lugbe and Kubwa after receiving valid information about their activities.

They recovered 25 high-end mobile phones, three laptops, Mercedes CLA250 and C300 cars.

EFCC spokesman Wilson Woorjalen said the suspects will be brought to trial once the investigation is complete.

The suspects are Joseph Boniface, Emmaneul Okwara, Elijah Iwebie, Moses Hassan, Abdulrahman Lawal, Azu Chidubem Eugene, Abdullahi Adebola, Elijah Simon, Terfa Lincoln, David Kome, Chukwudah Martinez, Adie Matthew, Canice Agabi, Abbas Aminu, Damilare James, Christopher Simon, Mohammed Abdulhamid, Ifeanyi Bosah, Ayuba Aminu, Godwin Terkura and Victor Ademola.
