The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has carried out a final inspection tour of key infrastructure projects in Abuja, expressing satisfaction with their near-completion status.

The projects, which include major road networks and public facilities, are part of the administration’s commitment to enhancing the capital city’s infrastructure.

During the inspection, Wike attributed the successful execution of these projects to what he described as “visionary leadership and unwavering political will.”

He emphasised that the timely completion of these initiatives reflects the government’s dedication to improving living standards and boosting economic activities in the FCT.

The minister particularly highlighted the importance of quality infrastructure in maintaining Abuja’s status as a modern capital city.

Among the projects inspected were the expansion of critical highway corridors and the rehabilitation of public buildings.

Wike noted that these developments would significantly ease traffic congestion and improve accessibility across different parts of the territory.

He also assured residents that all projects were being executed according to the highest standards, with strict adherence to approved specifications and timelines.

The minister commended contractors for their diligence despite challenges, while urging them to meet the remaining deadlines.

He reiterated the administration’s commitment to delivering more people-oriented projects that would transform the FCT into a model city.

Residents and stakeholders have expressed optimism that these completed projects will bring tangible improvements to daily life and business operations in the nation’s capital.

Wike concluded by reaffirming his dedication to infrastructure development, promising that the FCT administration would continue to prioritise projects that enhance the quality of life for all residents.
