Nigerian music star Davido has declared his wife, Chioma, “the main event” after she shared a lovely video of them attending his elder brother’s white wedding.
Chioma’s Instagram post simply captioned the video, “Us” with love emojis, but Davido made it clear who stole the spotlight, commenting: “The main event.”
Fans quickly flooded the comment section with love and excitement. Nollywood actress Uche Jombo wrote, “Asa”, while others like Warri Pikin, Israel DMW, Cubana Chief Priest, and several celebrities joined in with emojis celebrating the couple.
Chioma has consistently shown love and support for Davido. Last month, she described him as her handsome husband and prayed for protection over their union during his 33rd birthday celebrations. She also surprised him with a birthday dinner and gifted him a Hermes HAC Haut a Courroies bag, which he gushed about online.
The couple recently marked their third wedding anniversary, with Davido expressing his undying love and Chioma affirming her devotion. Their white wedding in Miami on August 10th was a star-studded affair attended by Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana and wife, D’banj and wife, Zlatan and his spouse, Uche Jombo, and more.
During the ceremony, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and calm in her storm, promising to walk with him forever. Davido, in turn, celebrated Chioma as his healer and the embodiment of unconditional love who saw the real him and still chose him.
