Job Description
Mobile Screens and Sound Limited is an audio visual rental company that specializes in the rental , sales and maintenance of Audio Visual equipment ranging from the LED Screens, Line array Sound equipment, Stage & Set design, Plasma Screens and Videography.
Responsibilities
- Managing records and receipts
- Assist in reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Processing invoices
- Supporting the finance officer and executives with projects and tasks when required
- Processing all logistics payments
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Participate in financial audits
Core Duties And Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets.
- Process invoices.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Assist in reconciling bank statements
- Participate in financial audits
- Make bank deposits and withdrawals when necessary.
- Track bank deposits and payments.
- Assist with budget preparation.
- Enforcing compliance with all financial regulations.
Organizational Relationships
- Directly reports to: Financial Controller
Key Performance Indicators
- Basic bookkeeping, handling internal mail and majorly third part payment.
- Controllingcreditandensuringdebtorspayontimeinternally.
- Reconciliationofdirectdebitsandfinanceaccounts.
- Ensuringallpaymentsamounts&recordsareaccurate.
- Timely processing of logistics payment as soon as it is approved.
Qualifications
- OND in Finance / Accounting or related discipline.
- One year post-graduate experience.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Peach tree) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Good Knowledge of best practice financial policies
- Good knowledge of accounting systems and practices
- Skilled in corporate finance methodologies.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent time management
