In a candid revelation, Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has publicly acknowledged that his wife Annie’s unwavering loyalty and love for him can be both astonishing and daunting.
The revelation came to light during extracts from the “Young, Famous and African Reality Show.” Snippets of which have been making waves online, capturing the hearts of fans.
During a conversation with South African media personality Khanyi Mbau, 2Baba expressed his awe at Annie’s immense affection, admitting that she often exhibits more love towards him than he reciprocates, making him feel overwhelmed at times.
Khanyi questioned 2Baba, saying, “Do you know how much she loves you? She’ll burn herself in order to keep you warm.”
Responding with sincerity, the African Queen crooner shared his feelings, saying,
I think I do… I think. You know… I feel it. Yeah, I feel it. It’s scary sometimes. She has always shown me how much she loves me. She shows it more than I do… I recognize where I have done wrong.”
While acknowledging the depth of Annie’s devotion, 2Baba also expressed his own self-reflection. He acknowledged the areas where he can improve and step up his game in reciprocating her love. He admitted occasional shortcomings but emphasized that personal happiness ultimately lies within oneself, beyond external factors.
