The couple, who were married for 25 years, went through a highly publicized split in 2011 after it was revealed that Schwarzenegger had fathered a son with a household employee named Mildred Baena.
Reflecting on their relationship, Schwarzenegger expressed his admiration for Shriver and their co-parenting dynamic, stating,
I love my wife. She and I are really good friends and very close and we are very proud of the way we raised our kids.”
Despite the challenges they faced, they have managed to maintain a strong bond and have celebrated important family occasions together.
While Schwarzenegger acknowledged the initial difficulty of their divorce, he emphasized that he has moved on and found happiness with his girlfriend, Heather Milligan, a successful physical therapist.
