The BizTech Market Lead proactively acts as a trusted advisor, to the global Manufacturing teams. They will focus on strategic initiatives and planning activities, striving to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues, and ensuring they create technology solutions that enable the business to achieve its objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop close and trusted relationships with Manufacturing Teams to understand their goals, strategic plans, and challenges and how Technology can support them to deliver these.
- Build a sound understanding of the market in which the Manufacturing Teams operate, understanding trends, challenges, risks and opportunities, and the position of competitors.
- Identify digitally enabled innovation opportunities that may benefit Manufacturing, liaising with strategic external partners and industry groups to develop new ideas for consideration.
- Undertake business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed. Screening and evaluating new solution opportunities to address internal and external customer needs.
- Develop and implement successful solution roadmaps, overseeing the end-to-end process of identifying solutions, implementation, and launch of solutions and helping to maximize the positive impact on the business.
- Ensure that Manufacturing has an aligned target architecture and data strategy.
- Review technology projects to ensure that they meet stated objectives, scope, quality, and budget.
- Understand and raise technology-related risks to relevant risk management processes.
- Ensure governance processes are understood and followed by Operating Units and Enabling Function senior stakeholders.
- Act as the key technology liaison across Manufacturing, other relevant BUs, the technology team, and outside vendors.
- Happy to get involved operationally as needed, dealing with tactical, routine technology issues as required.
- Act as a role model of Twining’s values and Technology Behaviours.
Qualification
- Proven track record in technology relationship management or Business Partnering posts.
- Experience of working at a senior level and interfacing with Senior Management teams.
- Proven track record and experience in developing effective relationships, strategic plans, business cases, and prioritizing in demanding environments.
- Previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working within a global business.
- Strong knowledge of IT Processes, Technology, and Strategy.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics.
- Strong IT financial/budget management skills.
- Awareness of Cyber Security and Information Security.
