Victoria Benn, the wife of British boxer Conor Benn, has opened up about a recent frightening ordeal. Basically, her house was broken into while she and her baby boy were home alone. Victoria, who married the WBA Welterweight continental champion in 2018, recounted the incident on her YouTube channel.
According to her, she was downstairs eating dinner when she heard a noise upstairs. When she went to investigate, she discovered an intruder on her staircase. Immediately, she began screaming and shouting at him.
Victoria’s phone was charging upstairs at the time, leaving her unable to call for help. The intruder managed to escape through the same window he had entered before the police arrived. Speaking about the incident, Victoria Benn said it was “the scariest thing that has ever happened” to her. She also expressed her disbelief and shock about the situation. She couldn’t believe someone would break into a house when a woman is home alone with a child.
Victoria went on to suggest that the intruder might have been watching the house and waited for Conor Benn to leave before breaking in. She said that now she has that fear when she’s home alone with their baby boy, Eli, and she feels very vulnerable. She added that it was the scariest moment of her life and hoped that sharing her experience would help others be more vigilant and cautious.
Boxer Conor Benn, the son of former world champion Nigel Benn, has won all of his 18 professional fights, with 12 of those victories coming by way of knockout. The 24-year-old is currently preparing for his next fight, which is set to take place in April against Samuel Vargas.
