Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has penned a heartfelt note to her mentor and guardian, Toyin Farin Ogundeji. Describing Toyin as her mentor, guardian, mother, and more, Bukunmi expressed deep gratitude for the support and mentorship she has received.
Recalling the first time she entered Toyin’s office 12 years ago, Bukunmi was awestruck by the numerous awards, including AMAA and AMVCA, displayed. She praised Toyin’s humility and selflessness, stating that her presence on set brought peace and magic to the project.
Bukunmi thanked Toyin for managing tough times and pressure on set, and for her international efforts that made things less difficult. Despite her persistence, Toyin refused to accept payment, insisting on praying for Bukunmi instead.
The actress highlighted Toyin Ogundeji’s patience and support, especially during challenging situations caused by rain delays on set. Bukunmi expressed immense gratitude for the privilege to work and learn from Toyin, promising not to forget the selflessness and kindness extended.
