Nigerian photographer and wife of singer Timi Dakolo, Busola Dakolo, has announced that she is pursuing a doctorate degree.
The mother of three took to Instagram to share the news, asking her fans and loved ones to wish her well as she begins this new chapter, affirming that she can and will achieve it.
“Wish me well. I decided to pursue a doctorate degree. I can and I will.”
Her announcement drew admiration and prayers from fans, colleagues, and her husband, Timi Dakolo, who expressed pride in her decision.
Juliet Ibrahim wrote, “You’ve got this girl!”
Timi Dakolo proudly commented, “A very, very proud husband.”
Other fans also flooded her comment section with words of encouragement, cheering her on as “Dr. B in the making.”
This isn’t Busola’s first major academic milestone. In 2023, she earned a Master’s Degree in International Business, a moment that left her husband full of pride. Timi shared photos from her graduation ceremony, praising her for balancing academics, motherhood, and family responsibilities.
He jokingly mentioned that he could now rest from her constant talks about how stressful studying while raising kids had been.
Earlier this month, on her birthday, Timi Dakolo celebrated his wife with heartwarming family photos, describing her as his pride and requesting for another baby boy to expand their family.
Just before that, Busola had shared an adorable photo of their family dressed in matching black outfits, sparking playful comments from fans who urged her to have more children — a suggestion that Timi humorously echoed.
Their love story has continued to inspire many. Timi once revealed that their relationship began as a friendship and has since blossomed into a strong union, blessed with three children.
