EFCC Arrest 34 Suspected Yahoo Boys

The anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested 34 suspected Internet scammers, also known as “Yahoo Boys,” in Ogarra, a western Ethiope Local Government, Delta state. The anti-graft agency apprehended the suspects involved in a sting operation.

On Wednesday, the EFCC confirmed the arrest of the suspects via their Twitter handle, stating that they would charge them in court upon the completion of the investigation.

The suspects’ names are Ese Collins, Benjamin A. Ifeanyi, Akparoboke Oghenero, Uti Jerry, Otega John, Joshua Broka, Jethro Saapila, Goodluck Ottwowatiohwo, Adilike Precious, Uvbierimi Raphael, Oyadan Clinton, Isusu Chukwuemeka, Esajini Fidelis, Monday Justice and Godwin Micheal.

Others include Osagie Igbe Uwa, Fidelis Goodluck, Emmanuel Jeremiah, Omokoro Omonefe, Emakpor Efetobore, Atunu Ewomaghea, Kingsley Onwudegiru, Esegbue Stephen, Ewomazino Odidi, Ishaka Samson, Chukwuyem Marven, Jephthah Eromosele, Ese Ozumu, Adelike Ifakachukwu, Osadolor Louis, Oghenemharho Prosper, Onoyeyan Daniel, Clement Ogiaide and Peter Ekepoburu.

Yesterday, authorities arrested 15 suspects in Enugu.
