FORMER President Muhammadu Buhari apparently made one final appointment yesterday, Monday, as he left office. According to a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Former President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Sha’aban Sharada has been named as the first Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children.
Recall that the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children Education Bill 2023 has received the President’s approval.
The statement reads-
“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of the outgoing Member of the House of Representatives for Kano Municipal, Honourable (Dr) Sha’aban Sharada as Executive Secretary”.
The former congressman graduated from Bayero University in Kano with a Bachelor of Mass Communication. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chichester in the United Kingdom.
