EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Overview
Our client is a leading information and communication technology solutions provider, which had actively participated in some of the most transformative projects in the banking, finance, commercial and public sectors in Nigeria in the last forty years.
The firm recently engaged us to assist in selecting a resourceful and enterprising business leader to drive its renewed focus on cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud computing solutions. This appointment is part of the firm’s grand plan to strengthen its leadership pipeline and re-position itself for the next phase of its evolution as the market leader in its business.
Responsibilities
The ED will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational management and financial oversight for the firm. Working with the CEO and collaborating with the board of directors, he would be required to:
- Develop and implement the firm’s vision, mission and long-term strategic plans
- Drive innovation and growth by identifying new market opportunities, partnerships and business models
- Stay abreast of technology trends and ensure that the company remains competitive in a rapidly evolving tech landscape
- Lead and manage senior executives, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, assuring a growing and satisfied client base.
Qualifications
The role is for candidates with strong leadership and team management skills, in-depth understanding of the technology industry and emerging trends, and exceptional financial acumen. Candidate must possess the physical energy required to travel extensively (locally and internationally) on the job.
- Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science or a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally as a senior executive in a tech firm for a minimum of five years, will offer a distinct advantage.
