The nominees for the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been listed. They were recently announced by popular TV stars Bisola Aiyeola and Adjetey Anang. However, fans and movie lovers were surprised to notice the absence of Remi Kunle. Remi has an outstanding performance in his role as ‘Saro‘ in the movie ‘Anikulapo,’ which received a total of 16 nominations.
On his Instagram account, Remi expressed his appreciation for the love and support he has received from fans and colleagues. He also congratulated all his colleagues who were nominated for the prestigious awards. He further jokingly added that he would have won his category if he had been included in the nominees’ list.
Remi began his acting career in 2013 and has since starred in several Nollywood movies. He has also received numerous accolades for his work. Despite his snub from the AMVCA nominees list, he remains grateful for the recognition he has received so far and continues to work hard in his craft. The AMVCA award ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 20th. Fans eagerly anticipate the announcement of the winners.
