The 2023 BET Awards were held on Sunday night, with several of hip-hop’s top performers receiving awards for their achievements over the previous year.
Nigerian celebrities Burna Boy and Tems were crown champions, while brilliant musician Davido performed on the occasion.
Tems won in the Best Collaboration category for her work on the Grammy-winning song Wait For U, which she co-wrote with Future and Drake.
Other notable performers during the event were rap luminaries KRS1, Big Daddy, and Fat Joe.
