Responsibilities
- Design Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects in the EMEA region.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of design initiatives.
- Brand Representation: Ensure consistent brand representation and uphold brand integrity.
- Innovation and Creativity: Drive innovation and stay updated with industry trends.
- Software Expertise: Utilize design software and tools to create and modify designs.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage design budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize project efficiency.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Set high standards for design quality and continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and best practices.
Qualifications
- Must have attended a fashion school.
- 1-2 years of design experience with at least one year in a leadership role in the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and fashion trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
- Experience in EMEA markets is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fabric types, production processes, and quality control.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate goals into actionable design strategies.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of managing high-performing design teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field is preferred.
