The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kaduna State recovered 478 kilogrammes of different illegal narcotics in November.
According to a statement issued by the command’s spokesman, Shuaibu Yusuf-Omale, on Tuesday.
Cocaine, heroin, cannabis, tramadol, methamphetamine, and other psychiatric drugs were among the things seized, according to Yusuf-Omale.
Yusuf-Omale went on to say that the command apprehended 90 persons during the time period in question.
Among the accused were narcotics traffickers, vendors, and buyers.
According to the spokesperson:
“In its efforts to combat the drug scourge in Kaduna State through the drug demand reduction activities, the command carried out numerous sensitization programmes across the state.
“This was intended to enlighten the citizenry on the ills associated with drug use and illicit trafficking.”
