Nigerian singer and businessman Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, recently shared an interesting dream involving fellow music star Davido.
Taking to Twitter (now X), the Grammy nominee revealed that he dreamt Davido gifted him a whopping $2.3 million.
In his post, Mr Eazi wrote,
I dream sey OBO dash me 2.3 million dollars.”
The tweet quickly sparked reactions online, with fans and followers chiming in on the dream’s humor. Some teased that Mr Eazi should dream again, while others joked about how Davido, known for his generosity, might actually make the dream a reality.
Here’s how some of his fans responded:
- “Go back and dream again. That money is too small,” one user joked.
- “OBO no get 2.3 million dollar self,” another teased.
- “Davido go just dey laugh,” commented another fan.
In recent months, Mr Eazi has been making significant business moves, including the construction of his multi-million naira estate in Rwanda. The project, which he described as a “miracle,” came after his father had shared the vision with him, but even he didn’t expect it to come to life so quickly.
Earlier in 2023, Mr Eazi made headlines when his portfolio company, Vydia, under his venture capital fund, Zagadat Capital, was sold for $1 billion. This deal, led by former Apple executive Larry Jackson, was hailed as one of the biggest in Afrobeats history.
Mr Eazi’s silent but impactful moves continue to solidify his status as a music and business mogul, making even dreams like this one seem not so far-fetched.
