Shallipopi, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music scene, announced this extravagant purchase through his verified account on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Notably, Shallipopi made his mark on the music scene in 2023 with the release of his hit track “Elon Musk,” which soared to the top of the Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music chart.
The artist, whose real name is Crown Uzama, further solidified his status by selling out a 15,000-capacity venue in London, UK, proudly representing his country on the global stage.
Sharing the news of his lavish acquisition, Shallipopi posted on his verified X page, stating, “10 BTC one neck.” Given the current exchange rates, 10 bitcoins amount to approximately $520,000, equivalent to about ₦866 million in Nigerian currency.
