Guinness World Records: ‘It costs a lot of money’ – Hilda Baci

Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has broken the Guinness World Record for “longest solo cooking marathon.” The popular Nigerian chef beat former Guinness World Record holder Lata Tondon on Monday morning with a time of 87 hours and 45 minutes.

She turned on the stove at 4 pm on Thursday and started the competition on time.

Hilda continues, despite breaking her record, aiming to cook for 96 hours (Four Days) and set the world record for the first time on earth to spend much time cooking.

Despite the heavy rain on Monday morning, Restaurateurs continue to receive support from government officials, celebrities, clerics, and Nigerians who stood by her side.
