The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has attributed Nigeria’s current challenges to poor electoral decisions made during the 2023 elections.
Speaking during a two-day “Recovery Conference 2025” in Bauchi State, Apostle Suleman criticized voters for their choices, expressing disappointment in the nation’s leadership.
During a courtesy visit to the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, at the Government House, Suleman praised the Governor for his leadership and hospitality, describing him as a man of honour. He assured the Governor of his continued prayers for the state’s prosperity.
However, in an interview with journalists, Suleman did not hold back in his assessment of the national situation, accusing Nigerians of ignoring warnings about their choices.
“What Nigerians are going through is partly what they deserve. Before the election, we cried out, we screamed, we yelled,” Suleman said.
He criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of lacking a clear vision and relying on entitlement, encapsulated by Tinubu’s “it’s my turn” mantra.
Suleman also highlighted what he described as devastating mismanagement in the oil sector and the adverse impact of government policies on citizens.
